About Us

We're Delongs' Casual Dining & Spirits, and we've been a premier American restaurant in Pontiac, IL, since 2005. We specialize in hand-cut steaks, homemade soups and custard, private events, and free delivery. We also offer sandwiches, seafood, salads, beverages, outdoor dining, and much more. We're family-friendly, and we pride ourselves on our customer service. You can even host your next event at Delongs'—we have upstairs dining available for private parties. We're looking forward to partnering with Dwight, Fairbury, and Streator consumers to continue to offer a premier dining experience. Upon approaching the facility, I see there is outside seating. Wasn't being utilized. When walking in the atmosphere is inviting. A small restaurant that goes deep, not as much wide. Having been on the road for a bit, my first stop was to the washroom. Men's room, then women's. The restroom was clean and nicely decorated. After having ordered, I took a walk outside , and I then passed the specials boards that are on the wall in several locations, but clearly able to be missed if not looking. We asked what the recommendations would be and were told pretty much anything in the boxes or the burgers. We went with the BBQ Bacon Gouda Burger, adding fries, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Ranch Chicken BLT sandwich, adding a side of onion rings. There is a strip sticker at the bottom of the menu stating that some prices may have changed. The burger and BLT were both $2 additional, each as were the sides. The wait was super long for the number of diners who were in the place. Unsure the reason for this, but our food was still hot. Our meals were delicious, and the portion size was just right. The sides were good, but I would have liked to see a couple more onion rings for that additional $2.00. Our server Carlee was kind and fast. She was attentive to our requests and also brought extra napkins. The location was clean and presentable. The condiments were clean and full. Location is at the end of the building on the block. Nice location in a small town. I've added a couple of other photos from that area as well.
